The Abu Dhabi Investment Office announced the opening of eight new representative offices in Tel Aviv, New York, San Francisco, Frankfurt, London, Paris, Beijing and Seoul, as part of the office's strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening the support provided by the office to investors in various parts of the country. the world.

The office stated, in a statement yesterday, that the global network of offices, which was established in cooperation with the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi, will expand the access of Abu Dhabi Investment to the main foreign markets to attract innovative companies and encourage them to establish and develop their business in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The network will focus on facilitating communication between companies in their international markets and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, in order to introduce international investors to the many advantages of establishing and expanding businesses in the emirate.

Strategic relationships

The head of the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi, Muhammad Ali Al-Shurafa, said, “Abu Dhabi continues to work on establishing strategic economic relations with our international partners, through enhancing joint investment opportunities and supporting innovators and international companies, with the aim of following up technological developments to achieve sustainable economic development for the emirate.”

He added that «the opening of the Abu Dhabi Investment Office eight regional offices around the world, reflects the emirate’s commitment to launch more investment opportunities in cooperation with the main international partners, as representative offices will act as a link between the main international markets and promising investment opportunities in economic categories that have strong growth potentials for us. This opens the door wide for new opportunities for cooperation between private sector companies in Abu Dhabi and their counterparts at the international level.

A leading destination

In September 2020, the Abu Dhabi Investment Office announced its plans to open its first representative office outside the UAE in Tel Aviv.

The office entered into a partnership with the (G42) group specialized in artificial intelligence and cloud computing, based in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, to host the representative office of the Abu Dhabi Investment Office in Tel Aviv.

The office, which is located in the new branch recently launched by the (G42) group, in Tel Aviv, will enhance cooperation between the two institutions, as well as provide opportunities for Israeli technology companies that wish to establish and expand their business in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
