The company itself did not comment on this information. 

Earlier it was reported that the State Department notified European companies in Europe about the risk of sanctions due to SP-2.

The Russian Foreign Ministry expressed confidence in the implementation of the project.

Nord Stream 2 AG will begin laying pipes in the Danish Exclusive Economic Zone on 15 January.
