The report sheds light on the distribution of the new licenses that were issued according to the main regions in the Emirate of Dubai, as the largest share was for the “Deira” region, with a total of 2,273 licenses, at 50.9% of the total licenses, then the “Bur Dubai” region, with a total of 2,186 licenses, or 48.9%. "Hatta" region has 10 new commercial licenses.

Legal form

As for the legal form of the new licenses, which were issued during December 2020, "individual establishments" accounted for about 40%, while "limited liability companies" acquired 32%, followed by "companies with civil works" at 24%.

The rest of the list of legal forms included: “Limited liability companies - one person”, branches of companies based in another emirate, “branches of companies / establishments based in free zones”, “branches of Gulf companies”, and “ Branches of foreign companies, ”and“ public shareholding ”.
