The Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority announced the return of tourist and desert trips in the Emirate of Sharjah, amid full commitment to the precautionary measures in place in accordance with the guidebook for desert tourism trips and tour operators.

The move comes in a strong push towards the resumption of tourism activities with the adoption of best preventive practices, the organization of health protocols, and the application of national safety requirements and standards, in implementation of government directives aimed at ensuring the protection of tourists, visitors, employees, citizens and residents of the emirate.

The Chairman of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, Khaled Jassim Al-Midfa, said that the decision to resume tourism and desert trips in Sharjah represents an advanced step on the path to a gradual return to all tourism activities within the framework of close coordination with all relevant partners from the governmental and private sectors in the emirate .. stressing the importance of adhering to the precautionary measures Which lays solid foundations to restore momentum to the tourism sector while preserving the health of employees and tourists alike, in order to establish Sharjah's presence as a safe and preferred tourist destination.
