The leading role of emerging industrial clusters is obvious, and the scale of electronic information, equipment manufacturing and other industries accounted for more than 50% of the country.

Furthermore, the formation of comprehensive transportation corridors has accelerated.

The high-grade waterways of the Yangtze River trunk and branch lines have a mileage of tens of thousands of kilometers. All 14 port iron-water combined transport projects have started construction. The planning and construction of high-speed rail along the Yangtze River is proceeding in an orderly manner.

As of November 2020, the length of the Yangtze River Economic Belt railway and high-speed rail opened to traffic has reached 43,700 kilometers and 15,400 kilometers respectively, an increase of 9,120 kilometers and 7,824 kilometers respectively from 2015; the mileage of expressways reached 63,700 kilometers, an increase of 1.55 from 2015 Million kilometers.

Lishui, Zhejiang and Fuzhou, Jiangxi, further promoted the pilot projects of ecological product value realization mechanism, which provided useful experience for the transformation of green water and green mountains into golden mountains and silver mountains.

In addition, the institutional mechanism has been continuously improved. The Yangtze River Protection Law was voted and passed at the 24th meeting of the 13th National People’s Congress Standing Committee on December 26, 2020, and will come into force on March 1 this year. It becomes my country’s first river basin law, and the Yangtze River Protection has entered legal protection. New stage. The linking mechanism of ecological environment administrative law enforcement, criminal justice and public interest litigation has been initially established. Establishing a negative list management system for the development of the Yangtze River Economic Zone, and speeding up the improvement of mechanisms for ecological compensation, diversified investment, and monitoring and early warning of water environment quality, have provided a strong guarantee for the development of the Yangtze River Economic Zone.
