Chinanews Client, January 4 (Xie Yiguan) On the 4th, on the first trading day of A-shares in 2021, A-shares fluctuated in early trading. The Shanghai stock index surpassed 3,500 points and the ChiNext index exceeded 3,000 points.
As of the midday close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.91% to 3,504.57 points, a new high since February 2018; the Shenzhen Component Index rose 2.30% to 14,804.01 points, and the ChiNext Index rose 3.67% to 3,075.21 points, both setting new highs since July 2015.
On the disk, agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery, aviation, electrical equipment, non-ferrous metals, tourism and other sectors rose at the top; on the concept sector, pork, Tesla, and lithium batteries performed well.
