Requiring tourist establishments in Abu Dhabi to conduct periodic "Corona" checks for their employees

The Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi obligated all tourist and hotel establishments in the emirate to conduct periodic examination of the Corona virus for all its employees every two weeks, indicating that the hotel facility must bear the financial costs of the virus checks.

The department stated in a circular, that employees who have had the "Covid-19" vaccination available in governmental and private health centers in the emirate are excluded from this procedure.

She explained that individuals who do not meet the conditions for obtaining the vaccine will be given a certificate from the vaccination centers approved by the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi, pointing out that these procedures are in line with the directives issued by the concerned authorities in the emirate regarding preventive measures related to the Corona virus, and in relation To support and develop the tourism sector and the national economy, in a way that supports public health and community safety and security.

The Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi warned that tourist and hotel facilities will be inspected by the department's inspectors to ensure that these instructions are fully adhered to.
