Abu Dhabi Tourism allows the reintroduction of "hookah" in hotels

The Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi has directed all the tourist and hotel establishments in the emirate to re-allow the provision of hookah, taking into account compliance with all directives and requirements issued by the concerned government agencies.

In a circular issued today, she explained that tourism facilities will be inspected to verify compliance with government instructions in this regard.

She noted that this circular comes in line with the directives issued by government agencies regarding preventive measures for the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as the measures adopted to support and develop the tourism sector in a manner that does not conflict with public health, security and community safety.
