  The Wen-Ma Expressway was invested and constructed by the Sichuan Investment Group, with a total length of 172 kilometers. It starts from the south of Wenchuan County, connects with Yingwen Expressway, and ends in the east of Malkang City. The main line has 121 bridges with a total length of 52 kilometers. 11 bridges; 32 tunnels with a total length of 96 kilometers, including 12 super-long tunnels.

  The project started construction in 2015, with a total estimated investment of about 28.7 billion yuan. The entire line adopts two-way four-lane expressway standards and a design speed of 80 kilometers per hour.
