Baoshen Expressway starts in Baokang County, Xiangyang City, connects with G59 Houbei Expressway, and ends at Yangri Town, Shennongjia Forest District.
The line is about 43 kilometers long, with a total investment of 6.8 billion yuan, and a design speed of 80 kilometers per hour. There are three toll stations and one service area along the line in Wudaoxia, Yaozhi River, and Shennongjia.
There are 26 bridges and 11 tunnels across the line, with a bridge-to-tunnel ratio as high as 85.36%, which is the highway with the highest bridge-to-tunnel ratio in Hubei.

According to reports, the project is invested and constructed by the Hubei Investment Group. It is an important part of the Hubei Province "Nine Vertical, Five Horizontal and Three Rings" Expressway Planning Network and the "Western Hubei Ecological Cultural Tourism Circle". The first highway.
This project is of great significance for improving the layout of Hubei expressway network, further strengthening regional transportation links and economic communication, promoting the development of regional tourism resources and natural resources in Xiangyang and Shennongjia forest areas, and promoting the social and economic development of the areas along the route.
