Izumi, which develops large-scale commercial facilities mainly in western Japan and has its head office in Hiroshima Prefecture, sells asbestos in diatomaceous earth bath mats sold in Youme Town in 12 prefectures from Kinki to Kyushu. We have started the voluntary collection of about 1200 items, assuming that they were included.

The products subject to voluntary collection are four types of diatomaceous earth bath mats sold at "Yume Town," a commercial facility operated by "Izumi."



According to Izumi, this bath mat was sold at 65 stores in 12 prefectures from August to 25th this month from Kinki to Kyushu.



On the 25th of this month, Izumi began voluntarily collecting about 1,200 items sold after being informed by a company that imports bath mats that it contained asbestos that exceeded national standards.



According to Izumi, consumers have not reported any health hazards so far, and there is no risk of asbestos scattering under normal usage, but if the product is scraped, it may scatter. ..



Izumi is calling for you to immediately stop using the product and bring it to the nearest store.
