  At present, the main structure of Shougang Station (Winter Olympic Branch) has been capped. The remaining are two air ducts, the platform slab inside the station, and the decoration of the secondary structure inside the station.

The remaining civil construction should be completed in August and September next year (2021), and the trial operation of the remaining projects will be the trial operation at the end of next year (2021).

  The west section of Beijing Metro Line 11 (Winter Olympic Branch) starts from Jinding Street Station in the north and ends at Shougang Station in the south. The total length of the project is 4.2 kilometers, all of which are underground.

There are four stations, two of which are transfer stations, which are to transfer to Line 6 and S1 at Jin'anqiao Station, and to transfer to the planned R1 line at Shougang Station.

The office area of ​​the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Winter Olympics and the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Ski Jumping venue have been settled in the North District of Shougang. After the opening of this new line, all venues in the Beijing competition area can be reached by subway.

After leaving Shougang Station, citizens are only one or two kilometers away from the Winter Olympic Ski Jumping venue, and they will usually arrange a shuttle bus to go there.

  Near Jin'anqiao Station, preparations are still being made to build the Olympic Museum.
