  The report pointed out that the number of ice and snow venues and facilities in China is growing rapidly, and the "south expansion, west expansion, east advancement" is gradually showing results.

From the perspective of skating rinks, as of June 2019, there are 388 indoor skating venues in China, which are widely distributed in various regions of North China, East China, Northeast China, Central South, Southwest, Northwest China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. At present, the number of ski resorts in China has been widely spread across 28 province.

  The growth of ice and snow facilities has also promoted ice and snow tourism as a new way of life for people.

The report takes ski tourism as an example. As of the end of 2019, the number of skiers in China was 20.9 million, a year-on-year increase of 6.09%, ranking among the top in the world.

  Based on the huge number of skiers and the size of the market, China has been regarded as one of the major ski markets in the world, and the number of annual skiers has exceeded some countries with mature ski markets.

  Under the national call of "300 million people on ice and snow", more Chinese people participate in ice and snow sports, among which young people and teenagers have become the main force.
