The report pointed out that the "hot wind of the Winter Olympics" has driven the rapid growth of the number of ice and snow facilities in China.
From the perspective of skating rinks, as of June 2019, there are 388 indoor skating venues in China, which are widely distributed in various regions. The number of Chinese ski resorts is also located in 28 provinces.
The growth of ice and snow facilities has also promoted ice and snow tourism as a new way of life for the people.
The report takes ski tourism as an example. As of the end of 2019, the number of skiers in China was 20.9 million, a year-on-year increase of 6.09%, ranking among the top in the world.
Based on the huge number of skiers and market size, China has been considered one of the major ski markets in the world.
