According to the Ministry of Finance website news, the State Council’s Tariff Commission issued an announcement on the 25th, stating that according to the “Announcement of the State Council’s Tariff Commission on the Second Exclusion List of the First Batch of Tariffs on the United States and Canada” (Tax Commission Announcement (2019) No. 8), the second exclusion list of the first batch of goods levied on the United States and Canada will expire on December 25, 2020.

The Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council decided in accordance with procedures to extend the exclusion period for the aforementioned commodities.

  The announcement content is as follows:

  For the six products listed in the "Second Exclusion and Extension List of Commodities Imposing Tariffs on the United States and Canada," the exclusion period specified in the Tax Commission Announcement [2019] No. 8 has been extended by one year, that is, from December 26, 2020 to December 2021 On the 25th, continue to not impose tariffs imposed by China to counter the US 301 measures.
