Data show that at the end of September 2020, my country's external financial assets were US$8,166.6 billion, external liabilities were US$60128 billion, and external net assets were US$2,153.8 billion.
Among the external financial assets, direct investment assets were US$2,164.3 billion, securities investment assets were US$772.8 billion, financial derivatives assets were US$14.4 billion, other investment assets were US$1,934 billion, and reserve assets were US$3281.2 billion, accounting for 27% of foreign financial assets. 9%, 0.2%, 24% and 40%; among the external liabilities, direct investment liabilities are US$3.1068 billion, securities investment liabilities are US$156.9 billion, financial derivatives liabilities are US$11.3 billion, and other investment liabilities are US$1.3878 billion, each accounting for foreign liabilities. 52%, 25%, 0.2% and 23% of
