  Guangqi Honda Automobile Co., Ltd. and Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co., Ltd. have decided to recall some of the defective vehicles from March 31, 2021, a total of 1088025 vehicles.

Specifically:

  Part of the domestically produced AcuraTLX-L, AcuraCDX, AcuraRDX, Fengfan, Odyssey, Guandao, Binzhi, Fit, Lingpai, Accord series vehicles produced from January 2, 2019 to September 26, 2019, totaling 535,999 vehicles.

  Recall part of the domestically produced GREIZ, GIENIA, JADE, CIVIC, ENVIX, INSPIRE, and INSPIRE produced between January 3, 2019 and November 9, 2019 XR-V, CR-V, UR-V, ELYSION series cars, totaling 552,026 vehicles.

  It is reported that some vehicles within the scope of this recall have insufficient resin density in the impeller due to imperfect resin molding conditions during the manufacturing process of the fuel pump impeller.

The impeller may be affected by the fuel to swell and deform, and interfere with the fuel pump casing, causing the fuel pump to work poorly and unable to supply fuel to the engine normally. In extreme conditions, the engine may stall while the vehicle is driving, which poses safety risks .

  At the same time, Guangqi Honda Automobile Co., Ltd. also decided to recall some domestic hybrid vehicles from December 31, 2020.

Including some hybrid versions of Accord, Odyssey, Lingpai and Haoying series cars produced from September 15, 2019 to May 19, 2020, a total of 40,737 vehicles.

  Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co., Ltd. has decided to recall some domestic hybrid vehicles from December 31, 2020.

Including some INSPIRE and ELYSION hybrid vehicles produced from September 1, 2019 to May 12, 2020, a total of 26,174 vehicles.

  It is reported that some vehicles within the scope of this recall, because the voltage converter inside the power control unit (PCU) is used to control the voltage fluctuations of the components on the 12V battery power supply circuit, under low temperature conditions, the PCU may malfunction and stop sending 12V battery power supply. At this time, the vehicle instrument fault light will be lit. If the vehicle is used continuously, the drive motor will stop working in extreme cases, the vehicle will not be able to drive normally, and there is a safety hazard. (Finish)
