He added, “(The pandemic) also carried negative repercussions, providing new opportunities and horizons for work.

For example, in the past, shopping in (traditional) and electronic stores was available alike, but during the (Covid-19) pandemic, the demand for electronic shopping increased, and the need for it was magnified as a prerequisite for precaution against the risks of infection.

Al-Hadidi stated that the UAE has come a long way in the entrepreneurship sector, pointing to the contribution of small and medium enterprises, as they recorded 53% of the non-oil GDP in the Emirates, while finding that 98% of the projects registered in the country are small and medium, which reflects the importance of the sector, now , And its pivotal role in the future.

Al-Hadidi pointed out that the UAE provides all facilities for the success of start-up companies, as it allows foreigners to own 100%, in addition to providing long-term visas for investors, and providing stimulating and supportive policies for emerging companies.
