On the afternoon of December 23, the Beijing-Hong Kong Metro Line 16 National Library Station, which was full of books, welcomed the first batch of passengers before opening. More than 30 community residents along the line and representatives of Beijing residents walked into the National Library of Line 16 Station and Wanquanheqiao Station visit experience.

  The middle section of Line 16 starts from Xiyuan Station in the north and ends at Ganjiakou Station in the south. There are 7 stations in total.

It is reported that this section of the line will be opened at the end of 2020.

  On the same day, Beijing-Hong Kong Metro also announced the time of the first and last trains of each station after the middle and north sections of Metro Line 16 were connected.

Among them, the first train departs from Ganjiakou Station in the upward direction (from Ganjiakou to Bei'anhe) at 05:40, and the last train departs at 22:45; downward (from Bei'an River to Ganjiakou), the first train departs from Bei'anhe Station at 5:00 15 minutes, the last train departs at 22:30.
