JR East and Seibu Holdings have decided to collaborate in a wide range of fields as the number of railway passengers decreases due to the impact of the new coronavirus.

We will jointly develop new businesses that support new lifestyles, such as "wortation," where you work while staying at your travel destination.

This was announced at a press conference held in Tokyo on the 23rd by President Yuji Fukasawa of JR East and President Takashi Goto of Seibu Holdings.

Specifically, we will combine the JR East Shinkansen and Seibu hotels to commercialize "Worcation" as a travel product from next year.

You can also use the vacant house to experience emigration and volunteer activities, which we hope to help revitalize the region.

In the future, we envision cooperation in town development and railway business, such as jointly developing a station building where both companies can transfer.

President Fukasawa of JR East said, "As the environment changes with the new Corona, we would like to expand the circle of business based on the area where our company's routes are located."

President Goto of Seibu Holdings said, "I want to make it a" Mikata Yoshi "business that has merits for both companies and regions."
