VW ID.Buggy Concept -

Reference to the buggies of the 60s and 70s, the Volkswagen ID.Buggy presented at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show was designed on the basis of the manufacturer's new electric platform, which is currently found on the ID.3.
At the time, VW was considering building recreational vehicles with its partner e.Go Mobile.
Unfortunately, the latter went bankrupt and ceased its activities last July.

Asked by the British magazine Autocar, Ralf Brandstäter, chief executive of Volkswagen, said that the ID.Buggy will ultimately remain in the pipeline because the manufacturer has other bigger projects.
Too bad, because with its 204 hp electric motor, this vehicle would have been really fun ...
