Softbank, a major mobile phone company, officially announced in March next year that it will launch a new brand exclusively for online use and introduce a monthly rate plan of 2980 yen for 20 gigabytes.
We also announced that we will reduce the price of a large-capacity plan that can use the new communication standard 5G among the current rate plans by 1900 yen.
Price competition between major companies has become fierce with the aim of competing with NTT DoCoMo, which previously indicated price cuts.
