the case of a family whose parents live in the provinces and their children live in Seoul separately for study, the actual cost of housing doubles as two households, but only one household was recognized for rent support provided to the vulnerable.



From next year, parents and children can receive rent assistance separately.



The housing benefits paid to the vulnerable are for households with a median income of 45% or less. Starting next year, the income standard for selecting support is integrated into one household, and support is paid separately based on the address of parents and children.



This is a case of unmarried children in their twenties who live in a different city or county than their parents for study and job search.



In the case of parents residing in rural areas, the rent, which was previously provided around 220,000 won, is provided separately for 180,000 won for two parents and 310,000 won for children in Seoul, which more than doubles the amount of support.
