According to data, by the Dubai Statistics Center, the total number of buildings completed in the emirate has reached 3056 new buildings, from the beginning of this year until the end of November 2020, at a rate of 278 buildings per month, while October alone recorded 258 new buildings.

The data, issued by Dubai Municipality, indicated that private villas topped the list of completed buildings in terms of number with a rate of 1434 buildings, followed by investment villas that registered 920 buildings, then multi-storey buildings completed with 420 buildings, followed by industrial and public buildings with 141 buildings each.

Statistics showed that private villas topped the list of completed buildings during the first 11 months of 2020, in terms of percentage, possessing 46.9% of the total buildings, followed by investment villas by 30.1%, then multi-storey buildings by 13.7%, while the share of industrial buildings reached 4.6%, and public buildings 4.6%.

The data showed that January 2020 recorded 271 completed buildings, compared to 327 buildings in February, 353 buildings during March, and 229 buildings in April, while May recorded 214 buildings, June 221 buildings, and July 252 buildings, bringing the number to 237 new buildings in August. To 375 buildings in September, compared to 319 buildings last October, and 258 buildings in November.

The investment and private villas together accounted for 77% of the completed buildings, during the period between January and November, recording 2,354 buildings.

According to "Dubai Statistics", these figures relate to buildings completed in areas subject to Dubai Municipality, during the specified period.

It is noteworthy that the number of buildings completed in Dubai during the past year reached 6665 new buildings, at a value of 36 billion and 114 million dirhams, with a growth rate of 6%.
