Sino-Singapore Jingwei Client, December 19, Eastern Time on Friday, the three major US stock indexes closed down across the board, the Dow fell 0.41%, the Nasdaq fell 0.07%, and the S&P 500 fell 0.35%.

Tesla rose sharply in late trading, closing up nearly 6%, setting a new closing high.

  As of the close, the Dow closed down 124.32 points, or 0.41%, to 30179.05 points; the Nasdaq closed 9.11 points, or 0.07%, to 12,755.64 points; the S&P 500 index closed down 13.07 points, or 0.35%, to 3,709.41 points.

  Bank of America stocks fell across the board. JPMorgan Chase fell 0.88%, Goldman Sachs fell 0.93%, Citigroup fell 1.63%, Morgan Stanley fell 0.79%, Bank of America fell 0.69%, and Wells Fargo fell 1.53%.

  U.S. anti-epidemic stocks were mixed. Moderna fell 2.62%, Gilead Sciences rose 0.02%, Novavax Pharmaceuticals fell 5.24%, BioNTech fell 2.06%, and Pfizer fell 0.92%.

  US energy stocks fell across the board, Exxon Mobil fell 1.72%, Chevron fell 1.27%, ConocoPhillips fell 2.41%, Schlumberger fell 2.66%, and Occidental Petroleum fell 3.39%.

  US stocks of large technology stocks were mixed. Apple fell 1.59%, Amazon fell 1.06%, Netflix rose 0.29%, Google fell 0.82%, Facebook rose 0.7%, and Microsoft fell 0.38%.

  In terms of popular Chinese concept stocks, Alibaba fell 1.68%, JD.com fell 1.43%, Baidu rose 1.36%; Best Group rose 25.58%, JinkoSolar rose 10.15%, Canadian Solar rose 8.85%, Weilai Automobile rose 4.35% NetEase rose 4.29%, Bilibili rose 3.03%; WuNong Technology fell 36.34%, Eggshell Apartment fell 6.08%, Anbo Education fell 5.7%, and 500 Lottery Network fell 4.71%.

  In terms of individual stocks, Tesla rose rapidly in late trading, closing up 5.96%, and the stock price was reported at $695.

According to previous media reports, Tesla will be officially included in the S&P 500 Index on December 21 and will become a heavyweight stock in the S&P 500 Index.

  In European stock markets, the three major stock indexes fell across the board.

The London Stock Market "Financial Times" average price index of 100 stocks on the 18th closed at 6529.18 points, a decrease of 0.33%; the French Paris stock market CAC40 index closed at 5527.84 points, a decrease of 0.39%; Germany's Frankfurt stock market DAX index closed at 13630.51 Points, a decrease of 0.27%.

  New York oil prices rose on the 18th, and the price of New York light crude oil futures for delivery in January 2021 rose 74 cents to close at $49.10 per barrel.

  The most active February 2021 gold futures price on the New York Mercantile Exchange gold futures market on the 18th fell 1.5 US dollars from the previous trading day, closing at US$1888.9 per ounce, a decrease of 0.08%.
