Guest of Europe 1 on Friday, the president of Système U Dominique Schelcher confirmed that the group would launch at the beginning of next year a new brand of low-cost products, "Mini price".

"Some of the French have purchasing power difficulties," he recalls.

Faced with the loss of purchasing power of part of the French, and while the economy is severely affected by the crisis caused by the coronavirus epidemic, the Système U group will launch in early 2021 a new brand of products to low price: "Minimum price".

"It is part of our 2021 projects", confirms Dominique Schelcher, President of Système U, on Europe 1.

"Some of the French have purchasing power difficulties", he recalls, describing a France cut in two, with "a half who saved a lot of money and another part for whom it is harder ". 

"Very good value for money products"

On this range, "we try to favor the French origin", assures Dominique Schelcher, promising "products with very good value for money, because a whole series of French people need this offer".
