The city of Brumath in the Bas-Rhin will welcome the first Huawei factory in France and above all, the first factory of this type outside Chinese territory.
The production site for technological solutions for mobile networks will represent an investment of at least 200 million euros.

The company announced Thursday the opening of its first factory in France.
It is the town of Brumath in the Bas Rhin that will welcome the firm which will offer technological solutions for mobile networks.
Last February, the group announced that it wanted to set up its first plant of this type outside of China in France.
This will now be done.
At least 300 jobs
The site will represent a minimum investment of 200 million euros and will initially employ 300 people.
It will produce equipment intended for the entire European market.
"The site will initially manufacture radio equipment (for example antennas,

) then will expand to other products in the future, depending on the needs of the European market," said the CEO of the group, Liang Hua to the French press last February.
