The Securities Commission refers a global news agency to the Public Prosecution

The Securities and Commodities Authority referred an international news agency and two other people to the Public Prosecution Office with cases related to incorrect press news, forgery of documents, and financial analysis without a license.

The authority stated that an international news agency had published press news that included incorrect data, information and statements through its website.

She pointed out that there is a suspicion that someone provided incorrect information or data to a journalist from a news agency, which resulted in the aforementioned agency publishing incorrect press news that would affect the market value of the security of one of the companies listed on the market.
