Adidas is considering selling Reebok

Adidas has embarked on a strategic review to decide whether to sell the Reebok brand, as part of the German sports company's new five-year development plan.

Adidas said in a statement that it will announce the decision on March 10 when it unveils its new strategy.

The company acquired Reebok in 2006 and has regained its profitability and growth over the past years

Adidas was caught in the cycle of the Corona crisis last spring and recorded losses for a period of time, which prompted the Executive Presidency Council and other leaders to give up part of their salaries.

Net profit also decreased to 31 million euros (33.6 million dollars) compared to 623 million euros in the same quarter of 2019, according to data issued by the company early last May.
