  An online symposium with the theme of "New Era of Data, Creating the Future Together" will be held on the 18th of this month.

Chen Jinggang, secretary general of the Malaysia-China Friendship Association, said that Guizhou is China's first comprehensive national big data pilot zone, and it has been developing rapidly since its inception.

Data show that 8 of the world's top 10 Internet companies are developing in China, and 7 of them have settled their data centers in Guizhou.

From 2013 to 2017, the average annual growth rate of the number of big data companies in Guizhou reached 71%.

The number of big data companies in Guizhou increased from less than 1,000 in 2013 to 8,548 in 2017.

According to the latest statistics, the total number of big data companies in Guizhou has reached 9,551.

All these show the vigorous development of big data in China and Guizhou.

  The China-Malaysia Friendship Association will invite experts and scholars from the Guizhou Big Data Center and business people to have dialogues and exchanges with university students, young leaders, and industry representatives from the two countries and seek cooperation.

The Malaysia-China Friendship Association stated that under the influence of the new crown pneumonia epidemic in the world today, information technology has become the new normal of human life.
