Sino-Singapore Jingwei Client, December 12, Friday, Eastern Time, the three major US stock indexes collectively opened lower and fluctuated upward.

Among them, the Dow closed up slightly and regained its 30,000 points at the end of the session; the S&P 500 index closed down for 3 consecutive trading days, at 3663.46 points.

  As of the close, the Dow rose 47.11 points, or 0.16%, to 30046.37; the Nasdaq fell 27.94 points, or 0.23%, to 12,377.87; the S&P 500 index fell 4.64 points, or 0.13%, to 3,663.46 points.

  US stocks of large technology stocks were mixed. Apple fell 0.67%, Amazon rose 0.48%, Netflix rose 0.43%, Google rose 0.4%, Facebook fell 1.29%, and Microsoft rose 1.3%.

  Bank of America stocks fell across the board. JPMorgan Chase fell 0.63%, Goldman Sachs fell 1.8%, Citigroup fell 2.61%, Morgan Stanley fell 1.72%, Bank of America fell 1.84%, and Wells Fargo fell 1.39%.

  US energy stocks fell across the board, Exxon Mobil fell 0.5%, Chevron fell 0.95%, ConocoPhillips fell 1.19%, Schlumberger fell 1.84%, and Occidental Petroleum fell 1.92%.

  US new energy auto stocks fell across the board. Tesla fell 2.72%, Weilai Motors fell 7.28%, Xiaopeng Motors fell 0.45%, and Ideal Motors fell 3.48%.

  Popular Chinese concept stocks were mixed. Alibaba fell 0.14%, JD.com rose 1.1%, Baidu rose 1.84%; Youke Factory rose 12.12%, Dada Group rose 4.91%, Jinshan Cloud rose 4.34%; NIO fell 7.28 %, Sohu fell 5.83%, Pinduoduo fell 4.33%, and Education Technology fell 5.66%.

  In terms of European stocks, the three major European stock indexes fell across the board.

The London Stock Market "Financial Times" average price index of 100 stocks on the 11th closed at 6546.75 points, down by 53.01 points or 0.80% from the previous trading day.

The CAC40 index of the Paris stock market in France closed at 5,507.55 points, down 42.10 points or 0.76% from the previous trading day.

The DAX index on the Frankfurt stock market in Germany closed at 13114.30 points, down 181.43 points or 1.36% from the previous trading day.

  New York oil prices fell on the 11th, and the price of New York light crude oil futures for delivery in January 2021 fell 21 cents to close at 46.57 US dollars per barrel.

  The most active February 2021 gold futures price on the New York Mercantile Exchange gold futures market rose by 6.2 US dollars over the previous trading day on the 11th, closing at US$1843.6 per ounce, an increase of 0.34%.

  The U.S. dollar index rose on the 11th. As of late New York trading, the U.S. dollar index, which measures the U.S. dollar against the six major currencies, rose 0.17% to 90.9726.
