  At 16:00 on December 9, U.S. Eastern Time (05:00 on December 10, Beijing time), the Dow closed down 105.07 points, or 0.35%, to 30068.81 points; the Nasdaq closed down 243.82 points, or 1.94%, to 12338.95 points ; The S&P 500 index closed down 29.43 points, or 0.79%, to 3,672.82 points.

Alibaba fell 0.91%, JD.com fell 0.23%, Baidu rose 4.55%; China Net rose 39.04%, Education Technology rose 34%, Tencent Music rose 4.89%, Yixian e-commerce rose 4.81%, Huya live broadcast rose 2.61%; Renren fell 11.74%, Xiaopeng Motors fell 8.54%, Tuniu fell 8.22%, Xunlei fell 7.17%, Pinduoduo fell 6.3%, and Weilai Automobile fell 5.54%.

  In the news, according to Reuters, the US Federal Trade Commission and almost all US states sued Facebook on Wednesday, claiming that it violated antitrust laws and should be split.

The Federal Trade Commission said in a statement that it will seek an injunction that "can require the divestiture of assets including Instagram and WhatsApp."

The alliance of 46 states, Washington DC and Guam also requested that Facebook’s acquisition of Instagram and WhatsApp be illegal.

  In addition, a German court banned Tesla from deforestation, which meant that the company's plan to build a factory in Brandenburg suffered a setback.
