It is noted that since December 5, the ship has been near the unfinished section of the gas pipeline - below the Danish island of Bornholm near the territorial waters of Poland. 

At the same time, on December 7, at about 23:05, Akademik Chersky turned to the northeast.

Earlier, the Federal Office for Shipping and Hydrography of Germany confirmed the approval of the laying of "Nord Stream - 2" in German waters for December. 

The department reported that the work will be carried out by the ship "Akademik Chersky".

On December 5, the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency of Germany announced in a navigation warning that the barge Fortuna would lay pipes within the framework of the German section of the Nord Stream 2 subsea gas pipeline.
