It was the first case in Seoul that a tourist hotel was purchased, remodeled, and then supplied as rental housing.

Today (1st), LH announced that the purchased rental housing'Anam Life,' supplied at 48 Anam-dong 4-ga, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, will start moving in from this day.

Anam Life is a customized shared housing that LH supplies tailored to young people near station areas and college districts for the stability of housing for college students and youth.

LH has cooperated with the social enterprise Ibuki Co., Ltd., a housing management organization, to create a space specialized for the needs of young people from design and construction to operation programs.

Anam Life remodeled and supplied tourist hotels that had been vacant for a long time due to the Corona 19 incident.

LH introduced that this is the first time a commercial building has been remodeled and supplied for residential use.

Previously, due to legal restrictions, tourist hotels were purchased through Ibuki and then remodeled, but with the revision of related laws in October, LH explained that it is now possible to directly purchase commercial buildings such as tourist hotels and supply them as rental housing.

Anam Life has been remodeled into 122 rooms.

It is decorated with a one-room residential space of 56 duplex and 66 general rooms (including 2 rooms for the disabled) and various community facilities.

LH introduced that the rent is a deposit of 1 million won and a monthly rent of 270,000 to 350,000 won, which is half the price of the surrounding market.

Anam Life is floor heated, each room has its own bathroom, and beds and air conditioners are provided as'built-in'.

The 2nd to 10th floors above the ground are used as residential spaces, and community spaces such as shared kitchens, shared laundry and cooperative spaces, and rooftop lounges have been prepared.

We first selected people with experience in activities such as cultural artists, creators, and branding, and consider that they can move into a two-story type with a space for creation and start-up (1st floor) and a rest area (2nd floor).

On the first floor,'Shop in Shop', a startup experiment shop that can sell and promote the results of young people's creative, entrepreneurial, and artistic activities, is also being launched to support a single young adult brand.

In addition, support programs for youth job creation, such as employment and start-up academies and job cafes, are operated with the help of Seongbuk-gu.

Even online, through the Anam Life app, we provide support to share life items such as major books and suits necessary for interviews, and to share residents' talents and knowledge.

In addition, some of the common spaces, such as shared conference rooms and startup experiment shops, are shared with local residents to be used as a venue for culture, art, communication and exchange.
