In November and December, the German state is likely to pay out ten billion euros more aid than would be necessary to support industries affected by the Corona restrictions.

That would be almost every third euro of the total aid of around 30 billion euros.

Particularly affected businesses such as restaurants and cafés will receive 75 percent of the previous year's turnover replaced.

The same goes for cultural workers and event managers.

Politicians apparently do not look so closely at possible injustices in this blanket approach.
