[Explanation] On November 26, at an altitude of more than 100 meters from the river surface, with the successful penetration of the last positioning pin at the Helongkou, the widest and largest span bridge on the Han River-the main arch of the Jianghan Seventh Bridge was officially closed. .

[Concurrent] Liu Shengqi, Project Manager of Wuhan Jianghan Seventh Bridge Project Manager Department of China Railway Bridge Bureau Group Co., Ltd.:

Our Jianghan Seventh Bridge is the seventh cross-river passage above the Han River. Our bridge structure is a three-span continuous bridge. The steel truss tied arch is also the first bridge of this kind in Wuhan.

[Concurrent] Mei Jiansong, Deputy General Manager of Tianxingzhou Road & Bridge Company of Wuhan Urban Investment Group:

Because this is a steel arch bridge, its core technical difficulty lies in the arch. You can see that this is a spatial structure. Whether it is the horizontal centerline or the three directions of XYZ, it is closed. At present, the accuracy of closing is about 2 mm.

[Explanation] The Seventh Jianghan Bridge is located between Zhiyin Bridge and Gutian Bridge in Wuhan, Hubei Province. It is the seventh highway bridge on the Han River.

The bridge has a total length of 2754 meters, of which the main bridge over the river is 672 meters long. The main bridge is a three-span continuous steel truss tied arch bridge of 132 meters + 408 meters + 132 meters. The bridge has 56 internodes and 11 spans on each side. Internodes, 34 internodes in the middle span.

The standard deck of the main bridge has a total width of 47 meters. It is designed as a two-way six-lane, and it is reserved for long-term expansion to two-way eight-lane conditions.

[Concurrent] Liu Shengqi, Project Manager of Wuhan Jianghan Seventh Bridge Project Manager Department of China Railway Bridge Bureau Group Co., Ltd.:

This project is our largest project in volume and scale on the Han River currently under construction.

[Explanation] It is understood that a number of new materials, new equipment and new technologies have been used in the construction of the Jianghan Seventh Bridge:

For the first time, the national "13th Five-Year" key scientific research project Q690qE bridge steel plate was used as the steel for the main truss of the main bridge. The application of high-strength steel reduces the consumption of steel for the project and greatly reduces the cost of project management and control; a single arch rib truss rod for the main arch of the bridge The lifting weight is 100 tons, which is the largest lifting weight of similar bridge structures in China.

[Concurrent] Liu Shengqi, Project Manager of Wuhan Jianghan Seventh Bridge Project Manager Department of China Railway Bridge Bureau Group Co., Ltd.:

In our engineering field, this material breakthrough is relatively difficult.

In our demonstration project, about 1,500 tons of bridge steel was used, which is the first time in our country.

It is the first demonstration application in our Jianghan Seven Bridges, so this is of great significance.

[Concurrent] Mei Jiansong, Deputy General Manager of Tianxingzhou Road & Bridge Company of Wuhan Urban Investment Group:

If its strength is high, the amount of material used is reduced, and the high-strength material reduces the structural material, which in a sense is the material saving.

[Explanation] According to reports, after the main arch is closed, the bridge deck will be erected. It is expected that the bridge deck will be closed in mid-January next year.

After opening to traffic, it will be officially named "Han River Bay Bridge".
