They stated to Emirates Today that after the announcement of the exemption decision, the price of air tickets changed and witnessed a remarkable increase, explaining that according to the company, “Wego”, which specializes in the sector of travel services and online reservations, the average price of tickets from the UAE to London increased from 3402 dirhams. Before the decision, to 7233 dirhams after the decision, an increase of 112%, while the price of air tickets from London to the country increased by 124%, from 1548 dirhams to 3464 dirhams.

In detail, the Executive Vice President of Al Rayes Travels, Mohammed Jassim Al Rayes, said that “since the decision to exempt Britain from quarantine UAE travelers, we have witnessed a significant increase in the number of reservations,” indicating that the rate of increase is high, given that reservations were almost non-existent before the decision.

Al-Rayyes added that "there are dozens of travel reservations daily from the UAE to Britain and vice versa, for tourism or business, and visiting family and relatives, etc.", pointing out that the decision had an immediate reflection.

He stated that “after the announcement of the quarantine exemption decision, the price of air tickets changed and witnessed an increase,” indicating that the average price of travel from the UAE to London rose from 927 dollars (3402 dirhams) before the decision to 1971 dollars (7233 dirhams) after the decision, An increase of 112%, while air fares from London to the UAE increased by 124%, from $ 422 (1548 dirhams) to $ 944 (3464 dirhams).
