The agreement also includes the evaluation of Hyundai's proprietary fuel cell system for the recently announced INEOS Grenadier 4x4 vehicle.

This engine is currently installed in the Hyundai NEXO, the world's first hydrogen-powered SUV with the longest range among hydrogen vehicles on the market.

INEOS recently launched a new company to develop and build a clean hydrogen unit in Europe, to support the momentum towards a zero carbon future.

The company currently produces 300,000 tonnes of hydrogen per year, mainly as a by-product of its chemical manufacturing units.

Through its subsidiary INOVYN, INEOS uses renewable energies to produce hydrogen for power generation, transport and industry.
