China News Service, November 16 According to the website of the National Bureau of Statistics, the National Bureau of Statistics today announced the changes in the sales prices of commercial housing in 70 large and medium-sized cities in October 2020.

According to Sheng Guoqing, a senior statistician at the City Department of the National Bureau of Statistics, the increase in the sales price of commercial housing fell steadily in October.

The month-on-month increase in the sales prices of newly-built commercial housing and second-hand housing in all tiers of cities has dropped overall

  Preliminary estimates show that in October, the sales price of newly-built commercial residential buildings in four first-tier cities rose by 0.3% month-on-month, and the growth rate was 0.1% lower than the previous month.

Among them, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen rose 0.2%, 0.3%, 0.5% and 0.2% respectively.

The sales price of second-hand housing increased by 0.5% month-on-month, and the increase was 0.4 percentage points lower than the previous month.

Among them, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen rose 0.4%, 0.5%, 0.6% and 0.9% respectively.

The sales price of newly-built commercial residential buildings in 31 second-tier cities increased by 0.1% month-on-month, 0.2 percentage points lower than the previous month; the sales prices of second-hand residential buildings increased by 0.2% month-on-month, the same as the previous month.

The sales prices of newly-built commercial housing and second-hand housing in 35 third-tier cities both increased by 0.2% month-on-month, and the increase was 0.3 and 0.4 percentage points respectively lower than the previous month.

  Preliminary estimates show that in October, the sales prices of newly built commercial housing and second-hand housing in first-tier cities rose by 4.1% and 8.0% year-on-year, respectively, an increase of 0.2 and 0.6 percentage points from the previous month.

The sales price of new commercial residential buildings in second-tier cities increased by 4.4% year-on-year, 0.4 percentage points lower than the previous month; the sales prices of second-hand residential buildings rose 2.1% year-on-year, a slight increase of 0.1 percentage points from the previous month.

The sales prices of newly-built commercial housing and second-hand housing in third-tier cities rose by 4.0% and 1.5% year-on-year, respectively, and the increase was 0.4 and 0.2 percentage points lower than the previous month. Both have been the same or have fallen for 19 consecutive months.
