List of the safest airlines in light of "Covid-19"
Emirates Airlines and Etihad Airways ranked first and second in the list of the safest airlines, according to the Safe Travel Barometer classification of health and safety protocols related to COVID-19.
The rating is based on an independent audit of passenger health and safety measures, as well as the overall traveler comfort, service excellence and passenger experience initiatives announced by airlines, regulatory and government authorities.
The "Safe Travel Barometer" indicated that it monitors more than 50 initiatives related to the health and safety of travelers.
The list of the safest companies also included Singapore Airlines, Iberia Airlines, Air France, Lufthansa, China Airlines, Delta Air, Oman Air, Virgin Atlantic, Korean Airlines and Cathay Pacific.
Save Travel Parameter was launched in 2020 to monitor global health and safety measures, traveler comfort initiatives and a holistic experience that influence travel decision-making and the actual journey in normal post-pandemic situations.
The Safe Travel Assessment is the industry's first COVID-19 classification initiative.
