Emirates NBD is the best retail bank in the region

Emirates NBD was honored at the awards ceremony for the "International Excellence in Individual Financial Services Program for the year 2020 from The Asian Banker".

For the fourth year in a row, Emirates NBD won the title of “Best Bank for Personal Banking Services” in the Middle East and the United Arab Emirates, and “.Liv”, the bank’s digital banking platform, won the “Best Digital Bank in the Middle East” award for the year. Third in a row.

The bank’s “Retail Banking Division” had recorded strong growth rates in revenues over the past year, capturing a broad market share across a number of product categories and sectors for individuals.

The department continued to achieve further progress in plans for digital transformation projects, as customers were now able to open accounts instantly using their mobile phones.

It also launched voice banking services from Emirates NBD to enable customers to receive updated information about their accounts and cards through Alexa-Amazon devices, in addition to expanding the scope of the digital authentication code consisting of two levels of "Smart Pass" to include all customers.

In turn, the ".Liv" platform, which aims to meet the needs of the millennial generation, has established its position as the fastest growing digital bank in the UAE, with more than 400,000 customers currently.
