Dubai Airports Corporation said that the number of airlines and air freight companies, which have resumed operations at Dubai International Airport, reached 65 companies this November.

The corporation stated to "Emirates Today" that 49 airlines started their scheduled operations at Dubai Airport, in addition to 16 companies for air cargo operations, noting that the total number of destinations served by air carriers through Dubai Airport has crossed the 140-point barrier.

According to the Corporation's data, the number of companies operating at the airport increased by about 97% during November, compared to 33 companies that began operations last September.

According to the travel instructions on the website of "Dubai Airports", citizens, residents, tourists and transit passengers must obtain a negative "Covid-19" certificate before arriving at Dubai and Dubai World Central international airports.

The Foundation indicated that precautionary measures have been implemented throughout Dubai Airport, to preserve the health and safety of customers and employees, indicating that these measures include protective glasses upon check-in and passport counters, in addition to remote thermal examination, as well as placing social distancing signs. Emirates Airlines and flydubai have a continuous increase in the number of passenger destinations within the two carriers ’network around the world. The total number of destinations within the two companies’ network is currently 139, of which 95 are “Emirates Airlines” and 44 are “flydubai”. .
