I have never understood the reluctance of the Spanish government to require a PCR test for travelers arriving from abroad.
The first discussion on this matter we had publicly on
Dieter Brandau's program
on Esradio last April or May.
It seemed to me and Dieter that requiring the examination had several positive consequences: it reduced the risk of importing cases, it conveyed to visitors the idea that Spain cared about creating a safe space for everyone, it improved security
