The national savings deficit has increased to 108 trillion won.

The national debt also exceeded 800 trillion won for the first time.

This is because the 4th additional budget fund was executed in September, when tax revenue was structurally insufficient.

There is no place for money to come in from the Corona 19 crisis, but there are many countries where money can be spent.

The Ministry of Strategy and Finance announced today (10th) the'Monthly Fiscal Trends November issue' containing these details.

Until September this year, the government's total revenue was KRW 35.4 trillion, down 5 trillion KRW from the same period last year.

This is the aftermath of a decrease of 13.4 trillion won to 214 trillion won in tax revenue.

In particular, corporate tax (-15 trillion KRW) and value-added tax (-4 trillion KRW) decreased significantly.

Fund income increased by KRW 7.4 trillion and non-tax income increased by KRW 900 billion, but it did not make up for the decrease in tax revenue.

On the other hand, the total government expenditure was 43.8 trillion won, an increase of 48.8 trillion won from a year ago.

Because of the Corona 19 incident, we organized additional supplementary administrations four times.

Accordingly, the consolidated fiscal balance between January and September recorded a deficit of KRW 80 trillion.

The administrative fiscal deficit, which shows the actual financial situation of the government by subtracting the balance of the social security funds such as the national pension, rose to 10.84 trillion won.

This is the highest ever since January to September every year.

It is almost double the deficit (57 trillion won) from January to September last year.

In the aftermath, as of the end of September, the national debt increased to KRW 800 trillion.

This is a record high, an increase of more than 100 trillion won from the end of last year (699 trillion won).

The government claims that fiscal balances or sovereign debt are moving in the expected path.

At the time of the 4th supplementary administration, the government projected an annual managed fiscal deficit of 111.6 trillion won and national debt of 846 trillion won this year.
