Lotus -
DR
Owned by the Chinese group Geely (which already owns Volvo in particular), Lotus is at the dawn of a revolution.
Indeed, the brand which currently only has 3 models with rather confidential sales is about to be electrified.
After the Evija hypercar, Lotus will soon launch an electric SUV which should radically boost the company's volumes (from 1,500 units / year currently to more than 5,000 / year).
Lotus Evija - DR
Designed under the orders of the former boss Jean-Marc Galles, it should borrow his technique from Geely.
Intended primarily for the Chinese market, this SUV will be built there in a group factory.
The Lotus Tech Center, based in Ethel (UK) will continue to handle vehicle development.
Next year, the English manufacturer will also present a hybrid sports car.
