For its part, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry reviewed, before the Israeli delegation, the economic scene in the emirate, and the competitive advantages it provides, stressing that the emirate is open to all global markets.

In detail, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized an official visit for a high-level Israeli trade mission, which includes senior officials and leaders of the largest bodies and federations representing the private sector in Israel, headed by the head of the Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce, Yorel Lynn.

A schedule of meetings for the 12-member delegation, which began its visit to the UAE yesterday, was prepared with the Dubai Chamber, the Dubai Export Development Corporation and the Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZA), in addition to the Dubai South, the Expo 2020 Dubai office and the Jebel Free Zone. Ali (Jafza), Dubai Ports World, Dubai Future Foundation, Dubai World Trade Center and Dubai Multi Commodities Center, as well as a visit to the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Center for Cultural Communication.

The Director General of the Dubai Chamber, Hamad Buamim, said, "This visit is an opportunity to activate economic partnerships and advance them to broad horizons consistent with the capabilities of the two sides and their great experiences."

Buamim indicated that there are many investment opportunities that can be built upon to consolidate bilateral cooperation, most notably in the sectors of agriculture, food industries, advanced technologies, jewelry industry, financial services, tourism, space industries, logistics and shipping, stressing that the two sides possess the required capabilities and a common desire to consolidate their cooperation in a way that serves the economic development process. In the Middle East, it benefits the business communities in the region.

Buamim reviewed in front of the visiting delegation the economic scene in Dubai, the basic pillars of the emirate and the competitive advantages it provides to all companies from all parts of the world, stressing that the emirate is open to all global markets, and is keen to extend bridges of cooperation and economic ties to serve its goals and strategic plans.

For his part, the head of the Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce said that the visit, which will last until November 12, is an important step towards stronger and stronger economic relations, praising the global economic position occupied by Dubai, its flexible and strong economic model, the diversity of its economic sectors and the abundance of investment opportunities.

Lynn told Emirates Today that Israeli companies are interested in constructive cooperation with Emirati partners, especially in areas of common interest, especially in the sectors of scientific research, agriculture, industry, free zones and developing investment relations, in a way that serves the interests of the business communities on both sides.

He called on businessmen and investors in the UAE to benefit from the free trade agreement between Israel and the United States, and the free trade agreement between Israel and the European Union, to boost cooperation and create opportunities for Emirati exports, as well as to strengthen cooperation with Dubai to become a gateway for Israeli products to Asia and Africa.
