The governor of the Bank of Spain warned yesterday again of the need to have a credible fiscal consolidation plan that does not surprise Spain in the open when the current consensus on public spending occurs, caused by fear of the pandemic, is replaced by the presentation of the invoice that will finance the debt that we are accumulating. It is not the first time that Pablo Hernández de Cos refers to this matter.
