With the strengthening of tax and loan regulations aimed at multi-homed people, the preference for ‘to be smart’ is growing, and apartment prices in Gangnam-gu also skyrocketed in the 3 districts of Gangnam (Gangnam, Seocho, and Songpa-gu).

As a result of a survey of the housing price trend of KB Real Estate Liveon by a real estate information provider, Economic Man Lab, the average selling price of apartments in Gangnam-gu last month was 7173 million won per 3.3 m², the gap with Seocho-gu apartments (611.3 million won). 600,000 won) exceeded 10 million won for the first time.

The difference in the average sale price of apartments per 3.3㎡ in Gangnam-gu and Seocho-gu was KRW 5.76 million in May 2017, when the Moon Jae-in regime was launched, KRW 7.5 million in January of the following year, KRW 7.65 million in January of last year, KRW 8.6 million in January of this year, and KRW 8.6 million in September of last year. It continued to grow to 9.74 million won.

The gap with Songpa-gu is also steadily widening.

Last month, the average sale price of apartments per 3.3 square meters in Songpa-gu was 49.97 million won, which was 22.94 million won compared to Gangnam-gu.

The difference in price between Gangnam-gu and Songpa-gu exceeded 20 million won for the first time in January of last year (21.21 million won) from 15.27 million won in May 2017, followed by 2,000 in September of this year (23.53 million won). It even exceeded the 1 million won line.

With the introduction of ultra-strong real estate regulations aimed at multi-homed people through the June 17th and July 10th measures this year, preference for new apartments in the Gangnam area is intensifying.

In particular, apartment prices in Seocho-gu and Songpa-gu also increased significantly, but the apartment prices in Gangnam-gu have soared even more sharply due to the favorable development of Hyundai Motor Company's new headquarters building Global Business Center (GBC) and Samsung Station Complex Transfer Center.

In addition, the news of the abolition of special-purpose high schools and the expansion of regular recruitment seems to have a greater impact on Daechi-dong, which is called the No. 1 private education.
