According to Dai-ichi Life, a former female salesperson in her 50s who was working at a sales office in Wakayama Prefecture was cheating 52.1 million yen from at least 20 customers for about four years until October.



A former salesperson abused the mechanism of lending money and performed the procedure without permission, explaining to the customer that "the loan was transferred to the account by the wrong procedure" and cheated the money. ..



There was also a fraudulent act of taking out insurance premiums deposited in cash and handing over forged receipts.



After calling the police, the company will discipline and dismiss the former salesperson in September and cancel all fraudulent procedures.



In October, it became clear that a former employee who was in charge of sales at a base in Yamaguchi Prefecture was illegally collecting about 1.9 billion yen from customers, and scandals are occurring one after another.



The company plans to report the details to the Financial Services Agency and announce recurrence prevention measures in November.
