The ceremony for Samsung Group Chairman Lee Kun-hee, who passed away last Sunday, took place today (28th).

The late Chairman Lee Kun-hee was buried in Sunsan in Suwon after the last visit to the Hwaseong semiconductor plant in Gyeonggi-do, where he was most attached to him in his lifetime.

After a ceremony that lasted about an hour as a private family leader, the Ungu procession left the funeral at around 8:50 am.



After visiting his home in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, and Leeum Museum of Art, where Lee lived, he received goodbye from executives and employees at the Hwaseong Semiconductor business site, where he had a lot of attachment to his private property.



A banner was hung at the Hwaseong site to remember President Lee's footsteps forever, and executives and employees watched Lee's last attendance with more than 3,000 chrysanthemums.

President Lee entered Yeong-myeon at Sunyeong, his family in Suwon.



The deceased, who raised Samsung as a global company for 27 years from his father, Lee Byeong-cheol, who was the founder of the founder, took over management rights in 1987 and fell into a myocardial infarction in 2014, died at the age of 78.
